Lulz Security is a hacker grouping created in spring of 2011. They became famous after several attacks of big companies sites (Fox, Sony, Nintendo etc.), and also governmental organizations (United States Senate, Central Intelligence Agency, SOCA). Using the non official classification the LulzSec organization is referred to so-called grey hackers. They are cyber hooligans, who are cracking or temporarily damaging sites. They are doing it not venally, but to show site owners the problems existing in security system, or to revenge for something.
As explained by the activists, their activity was not pursuing the definite objectives – it was “just for lulz”. On June 26, 2011 “LulzSec” announced through the Twitter on dissolution of organization. As was told by the hackers their project was initially planned as a temporary. Nevertheless, shortly “Lulz Sec” renewed their attacks. On July 19 they cracked the site of British tabloid “The Sun” and posted there the information on the death of Rupert Murdock - the owner of News Corporation, to which “The Sun” is belonging to. And on July 26 the Italian brigades of hacker groupings “LulzSec” and “Anonymous” attacked the Cyber Criminality Control Police Subdivision in Italy (CNAIPIC).
