France president Sarkozy denies all Strauss-Kann’s charges
France president Nicolas Sarkozy has denied Daniel Strauss-Kann’s claims that he had participated in making sex scandal around the former IMF chief.
Britain newspaper The Guardian printed Daniel Strauss-Kann’s interview on 29th of April. The former chief of International Monetary Fund told the reporters that his opponents took part in the organization of the sex scandal. The reporters of The Guardian said that it was clear that Strauss-Kann was referring to Nicolas Sarkozy’s people and his party. In addition, Dominique Strauss-Kann believes that Sarkozy is involved in listening in to his phone calls.
Mr. Strauss-Kann was arrested in New York in May last year. He was accused of sexuality assaulting of one of hotel maids. Besides he had to stand down as head of IMF. Later all the charges were dropped. But Strauss-Kann became the participant of a new scandal in February 2012. He doesn’t want to comment everything about the new scandal, but he denies his involvement in a prostitution ring.
All the accusations of the former chief of International Monetary Fund come at very sensitive moment for France. The claims appeared days before the second and final round of the France presidential election. Besides Dominique Strauss-Kann until his last year downfall might be a candidate of the Socialist party. He has no doubt that he had all chances to win the presidential elections.
Nicolas Sarkozy claims that Strauss-Kann gave the interview to the British newspaper, because Dominique wants to damage his reputation before the final round of the elections. Dominique Strauss-Kann’s surroundings stated that the former head of the IMF had not given any comments to The Guardian.
