Britain is named as the country with the poorest quality of life in Europe

Great Britain can be considered as the country with the poorest quality of life in Europe due to the results spent by uSwitch.com.

During carrying out the research experts considered 16 criteria defining the life in the country, including the average income, the VAT, cost of essential commodities, the price for fuel, products and the electric power, and also conditions of living, quantity of a sundial during the year and the opinion of inhabitants of each country. It was found out that the quality of life in Great Britain is worse even than in Poland in spite of the fact that the economic condition of the country is more stable, than the same at some other European countries.

So, inhabitants of Poland, France, Spain and Italy receive less income, but are much happier. Meanwhile only 5 % of inhabitants in Britain consider themselves happy, and 10 % want to leave the country. The crime rate, violence and cost of accommodation have become the main factors which have defined the place of Great Britain in the list. 59 % of British have declared that they are worried by the social situation. 49 % of inhabitants of the Great Britain have noticed that the real burden for them is the cost of accommodation and 47 % have told that they are worried by a growing crime rate and violence.
